Teikca

[Tee-ka]

Form study exploring form and texture using 3D printing with ABS wood filament. The intuitive container/casing fits the physiology of the hand. The object created is to be used as a housing for keepsakes and objects found on explorations and travels. Case one opens to internal water-like qualities, endowing a precious geode. The second has been metalised with copper and brass to create a perceptible external synthesizing surface, that wears/ages in layers over a long period of time.
